...Oh damn, I meant to post at the exact time my LJ was created (19:12), 7 years ago today (yesterday) but I forgot! >_< The Michael Jackson memorial service distracted me. I've got to say, I've been reading all the news articles and such on the BBC website that've been around, and my opinion toward him has changed a lot. I felt nothing when he died - I didn't grow up with his music (my dad fed me a healthy diet of 60s music throughout the 80s - I've never even seen the Thriller video), and I only really knew him as the weird nose-changing child molester who escaped jail. But now I feel genuinely sorry for thinking that. Poor guy. It actually seems like dying is probably one of the better things that could've happened to him right now, because there's been such an outpouring of affection that it seems like that's how he'll be remembered, for his talent and generosity to good causes. Totally had tears in my eyes when his daughter spoke too. >.>

Still can't believe he was older then Elvis though. XD (I also keep thinking of how Hina probably cried buckets watching the memorial, and of Ryo et al singing ABC and Ben... Aww.)
